Celebrating a young child’s creativity and joy, this class explores storytelling through dance and music. Students are introduced to the stage, dance class etiquette, developing self-discipline and focus.
Ballet I
Ages 6-8
Thursday 4-5pm

This class is the true beginning of ballet! Barre work will be introduced focusing on alignment and technique with two hands on the barre and later transferring to one hand, as well as center work. Although this class is the first real introduction to Ballet, we still focus on creativity of movement as well as musicality.
Ballet II
Ages 8-12

There is a lot of content in Ballet II for students to learn! Between new jumps, and the introduction of turns, get a headstart on learning!
Ballet III/IV

Moving into an intermediate class, the month will be spent focused on the bigger movements, i.e. Grand Allegro-how to move dynamically through the air, and the physics of turning.

An immersion class for people who are late to the ballet party! I hear so many times from people that they just couldn’t find a class that gave them the absolute basics of ballet. Learn the basics to have a seamless transition for placement into a specific level or to transition to the Open Adult Ballet class.

An open ballet class for beginner and intermediate dancers. The class is taught to the dancers level with variations offered.
Modern
Ages 8+
Tuesday 4-5pm
$75
A distinct contrast to Ballet, Modern allows a freedom of movement which Ballet does not. This class will introduce different modern techniques and movement, and allow the dancers to experiment with their bodies and interact with each other. Students will craft their own choreography!
