Violin/Viola/Cello/Bass Instructor

Mattison Solgan teaches violin, viola, cello, and bass from beginning to advanced. He’s been teaching for 7 years and has been studying music and the violin since 2002 at the age of 6. He studied Music Performance at Berklee College Of Music, the number 1 contemporary music college in the world, in Boston, Massachusetts.

From Southern California to Boston, Massachusetts to Astoria, Oregon, Mattison has performed at many premier locations with well known musicians. From David Archuleta in his “My Kind Of Christmas” tour in 2012, opening for Carlo Ponti and The San Bernardino Symphony with Symphonie Jeunesse at the Sturges Theater in 2013, conducted by Arnie Roth (well-renowned composer, conductor, and producer) in Boston Symphony Hall for “The Distant Worlds” tour with the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra in 2015, and partaken in many musicals in each area.

Although classically trained, he also knows fiddle, Irish, Celtic, rock, blues, bluegrass, R&B, many other genres and is still learning jazz.”
